First, you need to know you are headed in the right direction. If you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ, you have begun the adventure of a lifetime - an adventure and journey that leads to Heaven.

Second, you need to know you have been given a new life! the Bible says, "Those who become Christians become new people. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!" (2 Corinthians 5:17)

As a believer in Jesus you can expect to have new desires and new attitudes. You may need to replace some old habits and patterns of living with new activities that will help you to grow in your new life in Christ. Growth takes time, but it begins right now.
